Blend the sour with the sweet for cooking candy

In the creative workshops, there is plenty of room for immersion, imagination, and quality time together. Located within the indoor play area, this space offers a variety of creative activities for both children and adults.

Try our self-service workshops, where you can bake, make your own cosmetics, paint a range of figures, design your own T-shirt, and much more. Explore the many creative possibilities at your own pace and create personal keepsakes to take home with you. Along the way, our staff are always on hand to provide help, guidance, and inspiration, ensuring that everyone can join in and get the most out of the experience.

You will also find activities such as candy making and glass art. These activities take place at scheduled times and require advance booking through our activity booking system. Please note that activities can only be booked from the day before, and participants must be checked in as staying guests at Skallerup.

Creative workshops with access to ...

Borrow waders, beach binoculars, and a fishing net from Team Active and explore the shoreline. Scan the ocean floor for life. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to catch shrimps, crabs, and small fishes.

Or go on a litter hunt and collect trash in nature for the benefit of us all. In Team Aktiv, you'll be provided with a garbage bag and a litter card with information about the waste you may encounter in the area. Once the garbage bag is full, you can return it to Team Aktiv, where you'll be rewarded for your efforts.

Best little holiday

“It was our first time in Skallerup, and definitely not the last time. Our children, aged 4 and 1, loved the play center and water park, multiple times a day. We made hard candies in the creative workshop, played on outdoor playgrounds, and visited the Equestrian center. There is so much to do in Skallerup that we easily could have used twice as many days (we were there from Sunday to Thursday). And because we came in week 40, there were almost no people. Often, we had the water park and play center entirely to ourselves. It has truly been the best holiday in a long time.”
