All the small things that are important
The rental amount is to be paid in full (100%) no later than 12 days after receiving confirmation of the accommodation. If the amount is not paid on time, the reservation will be cancelled.
By booking the accommodation, consent is given to receive an SMS approximately 5 days before arrival with a link to MitSkallerup, your guide before and during your accommodation, where you can find phone numbers and access to our activity booking, etc.
When booking online, the full amount (100%) including any additional purchases are paid at the time of booking. The payment is made with a payment card through DIBS (Danish Internet Payment Service), which is approved by PBS. 4
Energy consumption is charged at a fixed daily rate per booked night in our holiday homes.
The daily energy rate includes electricity, water, and heating. Electricity for charging electric vehicles will be billed separately at properties where charging is available.
The rates are based on average consumption, differentiated by individual holiday home types, and divided into winter rates (1st and 4th quarters) and summer rates (2nd and 3rd quarters).
In case of cancellation more than 30 days before arrival, a fee of 5% of the rental amount will be charged.
Without cancellation protection
In case of cancellation between 30 and 2 days before arrival, a fee of 50% of the rental amount will be charged.
In case of cancellation less than 48 hours before arrival, 100% of the rental amount will be charged.
With cancellation protection
Cancellation protection amounts to 5% of the rental price and must be purchased at the time of booking. It is not possible to add cancellation protection at a later date.
Cancellation protection covers cases of acute illness, accident, or death affecting the tenant or their immediate family. In such cases, the full amount will be refunded, with the exception of the cancellation protection fee, upon presentation of a medical certificate.
If the rental is prevented due to force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, acts of war, riots, epidemics, pandemics, or similar), Skallerup Seaside Resort is not liable for interrupted or uncompleted accommodations.
