Get a sniff of life out in the country and let the children get close to the farm animals, which include rabbits, goats, pigs, donkeys and fallow deer. The idyllic farm is just a short walk away through the dunes.
On the daily rounds in which the animals are fed, the kids can help milk the cow and collect eggs from the hens. Otherwise, there’s a chance to play freely on the animals’ terms throughout the day. In Madam Blås Køkken, coffee, cakes and dough that can be used to make twist bread over the campfire are all available.
At the riding centre the youngest members of the family can go for a guided walk on one of the small Shetland ponies. If you wish to take the next step up, you can choose a guided riding trip on an Icelandic horse. The Icelandic horse has gentle, comfortable movements, and its characteristic gait, ‘tölt’, makes the ride a good experience – also for novices. The trip runs along the North Sea coast and through beautiful inland dunes.
On the daily feeding round where we feed the outdoor animals, the children help to milk the cow and collect eggs at the hens.
We feed the farm's goats, pigs, donkeys and deer, which you are allowed to get close to.
Afterwards you can play at the farm, but on terms of the animals' where you can also meet guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, etc.
